The impeachment of Chief Justice Corona has been passed and the senate will convene in 2012 to resume trial.

WHAT ARE YOUR VIEWS ABOUT THIS?

Personally, I would like for the wheels of justice to take its course. Eventually, when the dust settles, it is the truth that will prevail. CJ Corona should not take it against him, its a procedure enshrined in our constitution.

I personally discredit the judiciary for having the so-called "court holiday". Being public servants, they should not let their personal matters intervene in public service.

Hindi ko maintindihan bakit takot na takot si CJ Corona, wala naman daw siya kasalanan, kung gayon, e di dapat wag siya matakot.

I am biased, because I do not buy the SC's decision that midnight appointment does not cover the judiciary-- exactly my point, it covers the executive, the executive appointing a member of the judiciary. Tsk tsk tsk tsk. Sa akin lang, para paraan lang yung desisyon nilang yun para palusutin si CJ Corona.

Is the impeachment process political in nature? What do you think? Does it tackle justiciable or political matters?

Re: Defense and Prosecution- the defense is a powerhouse, all the best living lawyers I know are defending the CJ. The prosecution team is not as great as the defense team, especially Tupas hehehe.

I believe it is both political and judicial, and the quantum of evidence is subjective as a consequence.

To follow your argument, let's then put the blame on the JBC, the SC and GMA in the appointment of Corona as Chief Justice.
