I used to work in one of the government agencies back in Manila. Just recently, i filed a 3 months leave of absence without pay and was granted. Now im here Sydney for a super long holiday. Then i decided to take up some classes and wanted to stay longer. My visa allows me to stay longer so its not an issue. With my leave coming close to end, i applied for a 6months extension of again leave without pay. Unfortunately, the chair of my agency did not approve the said leave and i will be awol in a few days or so.

I remember there is this CSC resolution allowing any government employees for up to 1 yr leave of absence without pay. I wonder how does this help me from not being dropped in the role?...

For the record, this is my longest ever leave application from the last 5 years in the agency.
