I'm just wondering if any of you knows if there's some cheaper alternative to Lex Libris (Student Edition). tnx

Yes.. the internet is your other option.. dami man digests online and cases online.. or try eLibrary..but i don't know where you can get it or if its even updated (I used to have one but my computer crashed and I didn't have a backup cd)

As much as possible, I try to avoid those stuff with a fee. I believe that knowledge and learning should be free. I always go for open source.

I have Lex Libris and Philjuris. Both are commercial. To tell you frankly, it is just a money making stint. You can find everything in the internet for free. Go directly to the source, where these companies get what they sell-- the Supreme Court website.

I do advice you to search for the net instead. www.sc.judiciary.gov.ph has it. Lex Libirs and PhilJuris has the same content with that of online sources, the only advantage of Lex Libris is portability and easy access to resources. Search the net, its an economic wise decision. I'd rather spend my money on codals and annotated instead.

Try the internet, but you're already a member of Batas Natin, need I say more?
