TOPIC: REAL ESTATE

REAL ESTATE 5 months, 3 weeks ago #1115

i purchase a condo unit under my single name a long time ago. the condo is now for take out by another company. however, the developer requires me to pay 10k to amend the contract to sell to add my husbands name. I got married just last year. My question is there a need to amend when in fact the account is already for take out? Is there really a legal basis of amending the CTS? The company who will take out the loan does require so. PLEASE HELP. thanks

What do you mean by take out? Is it going to be foreclosed?

I firmly believe that there is no need to amend the contract of sale whatever their reason is.

thanks for the reply.
the loan will be taken out by another company since we are done paying the downpayment with the developer already.interest rate with the developer is really expensive,if we opt to continue the loan with them.
The only reason they have been telling me is that ITS A COMPANY POLICY. But I think its really unfair specially if there is no Legal basis actually.
thanks!
