Hi! Just wanna ask if a man can be sued for bigamy when he first got married under Muslim rites covered by the sharia law then got married again in a church ceremony on his second marriage.and is the second wife has the right to file for bigamy?

Just a matter of opinion, I think the second wife does not have the right to file for bigamy. A former Muslim marriage cannot in effect create a bigamous marriage upon commencement of a subsequent Christian one. For Bigamy to operate, the former marriage should prohibit bigamy or polygamy which is not true in Muslim marriages. I stand corrected
