I am befriended with a family in Bataan.
They live in a house for generations. At least they know that their grandmother lived there, and maybe her parents, too.
But they have no title to the land their house is built on. It was owned by a bank, and now the bank has sold many lots in this village to a private owner.
I heard somewhere that there is a law that give them the right to the land.
Is this true, and where can I find it?
The house is falling down, and it is important for them to own the land if they invest in the house. It is a residential lot of about 200 sq.m.
Any advice is welcome.
