When my paternal grandparents died, there has been no forum conducted among family members regarding the agricultural land my grandparents owned.
My father is third from the youngest six siblings and has been ill. He would like to claim his land share and re-sell that he may use the money on his old age.
The land titles were in his sisters custody and they were saying how the land titles still belonged and named to the grandparents of my grandparents which was making things difficult for them to settle land sharing among those other relatives who were legally entitled but has been settled with non-documented sell (my grandparents has bought and paid for)
In an effort to initiate the land sharing, there was a time when my father's signature was obtained, among others entitled but to no progress and result.
The person who went on to fix this was an uncle (married to my father's sister holding the land titles) has the job related to land title processing but with a bad reputation selling a land title twice to separate persons.....
It seems difficult for us to obtain a proper forum for my father among them (my aunts and an uncle). My aunts were not disclosing anything further on how to settle. It was as if they already sold the lands without us knowing, could that be possible?
