Under RA 9710, if a teacher got pregnant while still on service and dont want to get marry, what will she do if the administrator require that she be married before giving birth? Will she be denied of the benefits and be dismissed from the service? They administrator says that it is immoral...

Thanks...

The administrator cannot impose such requirement. In fact that is against labor laws. If the admin dismissed the teacher because of such reason, the teacher can file illegal dismissal.

The benefits entitled to a a woman being pregnant outside marriage is the same as the one who is pregnant and is married. The law does not make any distinction whatsoever. They can claim all the benefits like maternity leave and assistance, etc.
