The BIR garnished my ATM account where my employer deposits my semi-monthly salary. I paid my obligations with the BIR but said they have to wait for the end of the month to prepare and deliver the request for the lifting of the garnishment. 2 weeks had passed before said request was delivered to the Land bank of the PHL and the local branch of the LBP has to have the request approved by LBP main office.

Somebody told me there was a SC decision or law prohibiting the stoppage of salary or garnishment of Salary ATM account by the BIR for non-payment of income tax? I need an answer please.
