Great! A mobile version surely will be helpful.

Last weekend, I tried to comment on lawlessman's post on explosion by posting a link to a news item related to it. But my mobile web ( I tried different browsers: mini-opera; bolt; and the built-in nokia web browser – I even tried clearing cache and other memory consumption ) could not load the homepage properly. When it partially loads the webpage, it was so difficult to navigate from the top portion of the webpage to the lower portion were the link to the community update is located. After locating that portion, going back to the log-in portion is another tedious task. Surely, a wap version or webpage with less flash items would be useful.

If I may also add, as suggestion, the long list of law book reference would have not add to the difficult navigation if it is possible compress and expand the list only when needed.

But, most important, i would like to Thank you for making legal materials, issues, and reference accessible to us.

More power and God Bless.

Thanks for the comments. With your help and everyone who is using this website, I am sure we can make a better BATASnatin.

May I know in particular where is the "long list of law book reference" you are referring to so we can address this issue ASAP? Is it in the main menu?

Thank you and God bless!

Using a netbook or laptop, the BATASnatin webpage is really awesome, loading is never an issue. But, honestly, I am one of those who find it more convenient and handy to have a mobile phone as a companion than a netbook or laptop while on the go. Admittedly, however, the downside is really limited memory, except maybe with other high-end cellphone.

But since I am stuck with my old but still reliable nokia phone, I make it a point, to avoid running out of memory, to set my phone default setting at image loading off. And, the mobile view setting on to avoid left and right navigation. At that setting, here is how I experienced browsing the BATASnatin website using a mobile browser (opera mobile 10) at a slow wireless connection.

When I open the browser to BATASnatin, I immediate see the following in their corresponding order:

1. A box for the search;
2. The green search button;
3. Followed with Home, about us guidelines and privacy policy (with green background);
4. then, a long list of law library reference, starting from political and international law up to lawyer's oath (hope this portion is compressed by default and expanded only when needed. Just now, it took me 130 plus down ward single navigational tap to bypass this portion alone); and then
5. Sixteen (16) more taps to by-pass, the lawyers' directory, the bar (and its sub-menu), the community, notes vault, audio codals, legal forms, sitemaps, and
6. The log-in button will appear which if pressed will only reload the webpage again. This is how I experienced it last time while I was connected to a public free WIFI service which is a bit slow than usual.

Since reloading is slow, I tried another alternative to avoid waiting for the webpage to load completely. I patiently tried to scroll further down; but, in scrolling down, I had to navigate through the four (4) flash boxes and their contents. Again, this also takes time and patience.

After the partial list of successful examinees of 2009 Bar examinations, follows the "do you need help?" portion. Then, the community updates and Batasnatin newsletter subscription box. Then, the "What's new" portion.

After passing through the three (3) case updates of the what's new portion, only then one can actually log-in.

The first time I surfed the BATASnatin while mobile, I immediately surfed through the community updates without logging-in first. When I was about to post, I realized that I had not log-in yet. Thus, I have to scroll back again. For unknown reason, I found myself scrolling down endlessly from the search box to locate the log-in portion.

Personally, I find it convenient if the log-in space (where you put your username and password) appear first and followed by the community updates, the search button, the law library, and so on.

Thank you very much for taking immediate notice of my concern.

As my contribution to the development of the mobile version of BATASnatin webpage, I hope this post may help.
