FACTS:
Spouses Paraiso entered into a barter agreement with the spouses Baluran. The former transferred use of their residential house in favor of the latter in exchange for the latter’s riceland.
HELD:
No barter agreement for purposes of transferring ownership can be inferred when it is clear that the parties merely intended to transfer material possession thereof.
