> A special power of attorney refers to the clear mandate specifically authorizing the performance of an act, and must therefore be distinguished from an agency couched in general terms

> When a piece of land or any interest therein is through an agent, the authority of the latter shall be in writing, otherwise the sale shall be void

> A special power to sell excludes the power to mortgage, and a special power to mortgage doesn’t include the power to sell

REGISTRATION OF POWER OF ATTORNEY WITH THE REGISTRY OF DEEDS NEEDED. COROLLARILY, AS WELL AS ANY REVOCATION THEREOF.
