DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOING TO COURT DIRECTLY AND AMICABLE SETTLEMENT

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE INSTANCES WHEN PARTIES MAY GO DIRECTLY TO COURT AND WHEN AMICABLE SETTLEMENTS ARE NOT ALLOWED?

> The difference is that when the amicable settlements are not allowed, the parties may still go to the Lupon Taga-pamayapa. It is the Lupon that will say that it has no jurisdiction to settle the dispute, on the other hand, in the other instance, the parties may go directly to the court without going to the Lupon
