What most likely will happen is that the sheriff will try to serve it a few more times and if nobody receives the summons then they will resort to publication. After publication, the case may take its course and worst a ruling maybe had even without the participation of your uncle if the case indeed has merits.

Atty. Libayan replied to the topic Re: bail &advice in the forum.Ang unang una mong dapat gawin ay alamin kung may kaso na nga na nakasampa sa korte at hindi sa prosecutors office. Kung wala pang nakasampa na kaso sa korte, dapat palayain na ang iyong kapatid within 36 hours.
Ang bail ay depende sa iseset ng judge.
Sa korte ka magbabayad ng bail.
Mas mainam na may abogado ka.
Oo naman. Ok lang sa PAO, pero naiintindihan mo naman na di pare pareho ang kalidad ng mga abogado. Kung makakapili ka ay mas mainam.
